FAQs
Our Commercial Multi-Engine Add-On program requires a Commercial Pilot Certificate (single-engine) with an Instrument Rating (Airplane) and a current medical. A complex endorsement is not required, but it will make your transition smoother. If our instructors determine you’d benefit from more complex time before moving to the PA-30, you can build that experience in our Piper Arrow. If you don’t yet meet the requirements listed above, we recommend training with our partner, Biggest Little Flight School.
We recommend submitting your application about 4 weeks before your intended start date. This lead time allows us to confirm aircraft and instructor availability, reserve your accelerated block, and ensure all prerequisites are in place before you arrive.
All flight training begins at Reno–Tahoe International (KRNO). Lessons are also conducted at Reno–Stead (KRTS), Minden (KMEV), Silver Springs (KSPZ), and other airports at the discretion of the MEI.
Yes. Once you’re enrolled, we’ll provide recommended materials and study assignments to help you prepare before arrival.
